Goldsmith’s Hall – London, UK – TS.7003 Non Hold Open

Project Detail

  • Project: Goldsmith’s Hall
  • Location: London, UK
  • ProductTS 7003NHO floor springs

Project Description

Positioned at the junction of Foster Lane and Gresham Street, north east of St Paul’s Cathedral, the magnificent Hall, opened in 1835, and is one of London’s hidden treasures.

Faithfully restored on the exterior after the War and internally modified, it retains much of the charm of an urban palazzo.  A major refurbishment which was completed in 1990 has further adapted this great building for the 21st century.

The hall was again altered in 2015 and required high efficiency door controls to work some very heavy solid wood doors and the TS 7003NHO floor springs were chosen. These tried and tested, UKAS approved, floor springs were chosen because:

  • they have a Cam action which makes it a high efficiency unit
  • can be used for single or double action fire doors
  • can be used on a right hand or left hand door
  • are available in a Polished brass finish
