Over the years, we’ve gained expertise and knowledge around effective fire doors. We’re keen to share that knowledge as part of our mission to enhance life safety at every fire door. That’s why we set up the Rutland Academy. Our Academy training sessions provide a real understanding of how fire doors should be set up, and in particular, how different door closers can be used to maximum effect. All sessions are a mixture of theory and practical hands-on fitting experience.
A 5-6 hour seminar covering the installation of multiple closer types, including scissor, slide arm and electro-magnetic closers. Ideal for new installers or those looking to refresh their knowledge, and anyone wanting an in-depth understanding of how door closers work and the best installation methods.

A half-day training session dedicated to our RESPONDER24 electro-magnetic closer which requires specific installation knowledge and skills to fully deliver its benefits. Ideal for experienced installers familiar with general closer installation, but requiring more targeted training on electromagnetics.
