A true corrosion-resistant door closer, for use on heavy-duty doors in marine, coastal, and highly exposed installations.

 

 

When we say stainless steel, this is more than just the surface finish. The cover is solid 316 stainless steel, with the moving parts having a salt-resistant coating.  the closer is made, designed, and treated to last for some of the most extreme corrosive environments that pedestrians doors are installed in.   These would include the likes of off-shore oil rigs, food processing factories, health spas, swimming pools, sports centres, and many more environments that are constantly washed down, like sanitized operational clean rooms. There is a marine-grade version of our premium door closer models, the 9205 and 9206, ensuring your needs are covered for EN 1154 power sizes 2 (lighter weight, non-fire doors) through to power size 6 (doors up 120kg).

 

Rutland's Marine Grade Closers have endured more than 480 hours of salt spray testing in lab conditions, and countless more hours in sea trials and exposed coastal regions by end users.

 

These closer kits come complete with dual fitting, left and right, pull or push side fixing for every mounting application.  They are ideal for mounting externally, or internally on doors exposed to frequent damp and wetting.
